PIC OF THE DAY! (April 4, 2012)
SINGAPORE DAY 1: “I’M GONNA BUILD A BOAT!”
In between the arrival at the Changi Airport from KL, and the off-the-wall evening spent amid the wild at the Night Safari was a refreshing R&R session in our room at the Amara Sanctuary. Surprised us how the smurf was into another rarity today—taking a bath, and voluntarily! Must have been the awesome bath tub, huh, Jacob?
Feels real nice to be back. Dunno if it’s just me or if SG’s truly changed such a great deal since our first trip four years ago, but man did it all just take me in such unusual exhilaration, haha! Anyway, tomorrow’s, fingers crossed, Universal Studios day, woohoo!

DAY 3: THE TWIN TOWERS PEEPING IN AT THE ENAU COURT
Never mind all the pending posts in line. I just had to post this. We barely have any decent family photos. And, girl, Jacob’s ngiting aso is rarer than a gold.
Been trying to jot down bits and pieces of the trip, but always too lazy to put them in order. Besides, we’re only halfway through. Off to Singapore, first thing in the morning tomorrow. *Fingers ultra-mega-crossed for more decent pictures and writing, too!*

Peeta’s interview get-ups. *sigh* The girl-on-fire scene. *goosebumps* Cato’s unexpected adorb-ness. *FAINT*
Alright, I’m still gonna give in to uttering the cliche—the movie adaptations will never measure up to equal the books. But so what. The adventure was quite preserved, as well as the passionate patriotism I fell in love with. Peeta’s warmth was still there, too. And boy did I feel like I was the high school girl reading it all over.
Besides. My sister liked it. And I actually do enjoy move dates with her. Especially for when I’m on my “introvert” swings. Real comfortable. Besides, with her, I don’t get all embarassed eating most of the popcorn.

Thankyou.

No space in between the words. “Compound-ized” it, although not in accord to any lesson on language, or any legit convention at all.

Well, it’s as good as a proxy for either of those two similar words people deem appropriate for occasions you’ve just had too much of this week.

To two classes you’ve unexpectedly grown so fond of and close to, to a prof whose genuine passion has moved you unlike any other before, to a best friend who’ll never make it to your 18th, who won’t be there anymore just laughing on the sidelines with you.

Those two words, similar in structure as compounds, similar in meaning, similar in the sense that both are paradoxical to their very purpose.

Either the English language is deliberately deceptive in attempt to look mysterious and cool and all, or that it’s just plain messed.

‘Cause how ever, from all possible perspectives and manners can a “farewell ” go well?

How could one in the same situation possibly think it is possible for a “goodbye” to be good?

Bleh. Whatever. Brainfarts. I suck. :P

So much, so little.

Disclaimer: Random thought, so no judging the noob-ness, please =))

So much I wanna do.

So much I wanna be.

Yet so little time.

And just so much distraction.

Lord, help me see the significant’s and the not’s.

‘Cause there’s so much life out there I wanna pursue.

Yet too little of me, I’m afraid it won’t do,

But there’s just so much miles my feet itch to feel.

Yet there’s just too much detouring, too.

-

Bumping the thought of the Lotus Hotel and Casino in the Percy Jackson series. Hay. Just so much time wasted on insignificant things. I can do better than this.

So help me, God.

So much life in a single day. So much change of clothes to pack.

Tomorrow’s agenda:

  1. Philo 1 group work
  2. Eng 11 Romeo and Juliet play
  3. Basketball practicals
  4. LF Apps’ Night

Excited and nervous and stuff.

We can do this, Lord! Whew! Keribels!

ALYANSA Dominates

Not completely against it, really. But still. Oh well. At least I got my free taho for voting. Thank you, CALSC.

On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning

A beautiful real quick read for all the Haruki Murakami fans out there.

More importantly, for the those of us who are torpe. Mehe.

Regret Me Not?

At times I get regrets. (Then apply necessary corrective measures.)

Then come times when I realize, it doesn’t make sense to have regrets. ‘Cause things happen for reasons. In other words, these times come, when I regret ever having those first regrets.

So…

  1. Do the latter cancel the first ones out? Meaning, I logically made zero regrets at all?

    Or…

  2. Does this technically make me a person of a ton of regret?

Mind-effed!

(Writing this because you ain’t alone with those sentiments, dear. Love you, Abeng.)
